Do you enjoy physical activity and want to take part in a fast-paced and rewarding environment? This company is looking for an exceptional intern who can fill their role as a Warehouse Specialist. This position involves pulling, packaging, and shipping of items. The Warehouse Specialist will also perform other related duties as required and assigned by management.
Access information on a computer, be able to build both skids and crates for shipping equipment, keep shipping and receiving area clean/stocked, making sure the shipping of all orders is done in a timely manner, getting all freight charges added to the picking list in a timely manner, make sure that all safety rules are being followed, assist all RFM employees with finding parts they need, make sure we have adequate shipping supplies on hand at all times, prepare/schedule outgoing shipments, washing and cleaning some vehicles, perform other duties and/or responsibilities as assigned by manager. Having prior forklift experience is a plus but not necessary. The employer will provide training & certification for forklift use.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in a warehouse and driver setting. While performing this job, the employee is regularly required to speak or hear. This is largely a moving/physical role; however, some sitting and system work will be required. The employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle, feel or operate objects, tools and controls. This also require the ability to lift light to heavy boxes, pulling, bend or stand on a ladder, climb stairs, reach with hands and arms, squat, moving furniture, configuring meeting rooms/spaces as necessary.
Internship available! Located in Modesto
Starting pay: $12.50 per hour
Hours: 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Work Days: Mondays, Wednesday, Fridays, and sometimes Saturday
