Operator will be utilizing the Transload equipment within the rail yard, loading and unloading Hazardous Materials. Operator will be responsible for transferring product from railcars to tank trailers.
Load products from railcars to tank trailers
Perform safe and efficient transfer of products from railcars to tank trailers
Operator must comply with PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) requirements and dress code
Gauge and record trailer weight
Perform general inspection and monitoring of related equipment. Report equipment abnormalities or failures to Supervisor
Comply with federal, state and local regulations
Will be working outside for extended periods of time in extreme weather conditions
Basic math skills
Ability to learn and adhere to rail yard policies
Mechanical aptitude would be preferred
Must have the physical ability to climb the railcars which are anywhere from 10-15 feet
Must be capable of lifting hose which may weigh up to 50 pounds
HAZMAT experience is a plus
High School Diploma or equivalent education
Internships available: Two in Stockton
Starting Pay: $12.50 per hour
Hours: 8-hour workday
Work Days: Monday, Wednesday and Friday
