We are currently looking for an Accounting Assistant to assist with data entry by processing commission statements for our agency.
- Must have a clean background / no criminal record.
- A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Must be computer literate – ability to type at least 55 words per minute and use 10-key functions.
- Must understand basic math functions and/or basic accounting functions.
- Must maintain professional phone etiquette and utilize proper English, grammar and punctuation skills.
- Must be able to sit for extended periods at a time in front of a computer with dual screens
- There will be minimal lifting (if any, under 15 lbs.), bending, stretching, etc.
- Must be a fast learner, punctual, professional and organized.
- Must have a positive attitude and enjoy customer service.
- This position does not require a background in insurance, but insurance experience is always helpful.
- Knowledge of Applied TAM agency management system and Microsoft Software (Outlook, Excel, Explorer, etc.)
